Guide for Authors

(1) The author (researcher) has to register on the journal platform and submit the manuscript. Please note that all submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using professional plagiarism-checking software. Submitted manuscripts with an unacceptable similarity index resulting from plagiarism (more than 25%) are rejected immediately.

(2) The manuscript must be written in English using Microsoft Word Software, with the following writing specifications: the paper is typed on A4 paper with a size of (21×29.7 cm), the page margins are left with a width of 2.5 cm from the 4 edges of the page, the font used for the main body is Times New Roman (TNR), size (14) light, with 1.5 line spacing, paragraphs start with a 1.27 cm First Line indentation,  while the reference list starts with Hanging indentation at 1.27 cm.

(3) The research title is typed in a size 16 bold font, and the main section titles are typed in a size 14 bold font in capital letters. The subheadings are typed in a size 14 bold font in small letters, with only the first letter of the first word in the title being typed in a capital letter.

(4) The authors' names (researchers) are written under the research title immediately, in a size 12 bold font. The name of the researcher (whether the first researcher or other researchers) is written in full or abbreviated, followed by the first letter of the father's name (abbreviated) and the grandfather's name (or surname) in full. A period is placed after the abbreviation letters and a semicolon is placed between the names of the researchers, except before the last researcher, where the word "and" is placed.

(5) The authors' (researchers') affiliations are written in a normal size 12 font, in the order in which their names appear. A separate line is provided for each affiliation. Please note that e-mail addresses must be provided for all authors and the Responsible author must be specified.

(6) The English abstract should not exceed 250-300 words and it is essential to have keywords not exceeding 8 words related to the research, and they are placed below the English abstract.

(7) Visual aids (tables, graphs, or images) are placed immediately after they are first mentioned in the main body of the research as much as possible.

(8) The font size inside the table is 10 points, except for the table title, which must be typed in 12 bold font. The subsequent lines after the first line are started at the level of the first word of the table title (i.e., at the level of the first word after the table number). Under no circumstances may visual aids (tables, graphs) be duplicated for the same data set.

(9) The reference list is arranged alphabetically, starting with the authors' (researchers') names, then the year in parentheses, then a period (.), then the research title, then a period (.), then the full source. It is important to write the authors' (researchers') names using a single system, where the surname is written first, followed by a comma (,), then the researcher's abbreviation in a capital letter (Capital), then a period (.), then the father's name abbreviation in a capital letter (Capital), then a period (.). No space should be left between the researcher and father abbreviations. A semicolon is placed between the names of the researchers, except before the last researcher, where the word "and" is placed. It is also necessary to follow a single system for writing the sources of the references in a single research so that all the sources of the research are written either in full or abbreviated.

(10) The research must contain the following main parts: ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, REFERENCES, and ARABIC ABSTRACT (for Arabic-speaking countries only).

(11) It is permissible to have a separate discussion section (DISCUSSION) or add a conclusion paragraph (CONCLUSION) or a thank you paragraph (ACKNOWLEDGEMENT).

(12) Measurement units used in the manuscript should be met by the International System of Units (SI).

(13) Any rules that are not mentioned in this list will be subject to the principles and rules of scientific writing.

(14) For the Egyptian researcher’s publication charges, SSFOP member = 1200 L.E. non-SSFOP member = 1400 L.E., extra reprint copies = 50 L.E./copy. For a non-Egyptian researcher’s publication charges 110 US $.
